Data methodology

Aisle's calculators (Pricing Calculator, Workflow Builder, Equipment Budget Planner, Reel Edit Estimator) draw on industry research, public market data on wedding-content pricing and vendor commission rates, structured interviews with working wedding content creators across North America, Europe, and the UK, and Aisle's own evolving observations of how creators package, price, and deliver their work.

Where ranges are published, we show the lower and upper bound rather than a single number. As our platform grows, anonymised, aggregated platform signals will increasingly feed back into these models — when they do, we will update this page to reflect it.

The pricing tool returns a Starter, Recommended, and Luxury price for any combination of market, experience tier, and deliverable mix. The formula is a multiplicative model: a tier base rate is multiplied by market and experience multipliers, then adjusted by deliverable add-ons.

Tier base rates are reviewed regularly against publicly visible creator pricing. Market multipliers are calibrated against cost-of-living indices and reflect the typical 1.0×–1.5× spread we observe between Tier-2 metros and global cities like NYC, LA, and London.

Same-day, 24-hour, and 72-hour delivery timelines published in the Workflow Builder reflect realistic delivery windows for the iPhone-first capture-to-edit pipeline Aisle is built around, drawn from creator interviews and our own production testing.

Same-day estimates assume mobile editing in CapCut or a similar editor. Longer windows assume desktop editing.

Gear price ranges reflect MSRP at retailers active in North America and the EU, refreshed at least every six months. We don't recommend gear we wouldn't run ourselves, and we do not accept payment from manufacturers to appear in our tier recommendations.

These models are calibrated to a fast-moving industry. Pricing varies by market, season, deliverable mix, and the creator's personal brand. The numbers we publish are starting points for your own pricing decisions — not guarantees.

When a calibration shifts more than 5%, we re-run affected calculators and update the displayed ranges with a new updated date. Major formula revisions are published with a short editor's note on the calculator page.
