Uploading clips from iPhone

The fastest way to move 500+ vertical clips from your iPhone into the gallery.

You'll move hundreds of clips off an iPhone at a venue without losing one.

Quick answer

Open the event in Safari, tap Upload → Photo Library, select your clips and tap Add. Files enter a resumable queue stored on the device, so a dropped venue network never restarts a transfer.

Quick steps

  1. 1.Open the event in Safari on your iPhone.
  2. 2.Tap Upload → Photo Library and select clips.
  3. 3.Keep the tab in the foreground while it transfers.
  4. 4.Retry anything marked Failed before you leave.

Full walkthrough with screens below.

Before you begin

Prerequisites

  • An event created in your dashboard

Aisle is iPhone-first. There's nothing to install — uploads run in Safari and are tuned for the terrible networks weddings happen on.

Safari → Upload → Photo Library

Start the upload

  1. 1Open the event on your iPhone in Safari.
  2. 2Tap Upload, then Photo Library.
  3. 3Select the clips you want to deliver.
  4. 4Tap Add. Each file joins the queue and starts transferring.

Read the queue

  1. 1Queued — recorded, waiting for a slot.
  2. 2Uploading — chunks moving; progress is real.
  3. 3Processing — arrived; previews and posters being generated.
  4. 4Ready — live in the gallery.
  5. 5Failed — tap Retry.

Keep it running

Aisle holds a wake lock so the screen won't sleep, and resumes from the last completed chunk when the network changes. Switching from venue Wi-Fi to 5G mid-upload is safe.

On iPhoneiOS can suspend a backgrounded tab after a few minutes — keep Safari in the foreground during big batches.

Common mistakes

  • Switching apps mid-upload — iOS can background Safari.
  • Force-quitting Safari to 'restart' a slow upload.
  • Leaving the venue with files still Uploading.

Pro tips

  • Plug into power before starting a 200+ clip upload.
  • Disable Low Power Mode — it throttles networking.
  • Upload in waves through the day rather than one dump at the end.

Troubleshooting

If something goes wrong
